ABOUT ABOUT

 Uncool- By: Vin Morreale, Jr.

This is a  fast-paced, one-act comedy exploring social issues familiar to anyone who has ever experienced the unique trauma of growing up and going to school. Jenny is part of the popular crowd that rules the school, while Beth is the new girl trying desperately to fit in. Together they must come to terms with what it means to be cool, what is “uncool,” and why it is so important to simply be yourself.  Issues of self-worth, mutual respect and tolerance of those who are different are examined against 1990s period teen dialogue

Small Actors By: Stephen Gregg

Emily, who desperately wants to play the lead in her high school's production of Romeo and Juliet.  Instead, she gets cast in a one-line, four-word role.  Regardless, she tells her parents (who will be out of town during the performance) that she got the lead, and suddenly things spin far out of control.  Mom and Dad cancel vacation plans and invite every relative they can round up to come visit and see their daughter play Juliet.  This one-act play is about the roles we all play—in theatre and in life.

The Diary of Adam and Eve By: Mark Twain, Adapted for stage by Mark Bucci.

Adam doesn't get a chance to name any of the new wonders of creation because Eve always beats him to it.  Eve feels that she, too, is an important experiment and she must chronicle her observations. Among these observations are the discovery of fire, the fact that water runs uphill at night, and that not only can she talk to animals but some, such as the snake, can talk back. Accepting the apple, Eve and Adam get a new look at life.
